The Underground Concert Series presents “Contemplating the Heavens” a collaboration featuring Steve Talaga & Linda Nemec Foster

The LaFontsee Gallery produces a new series of improvised music concerts starting Sunday, February 15th at 3 p.m. when The Underground Concert Series presents Grand Rapids first Poet Laureate, Linda Nemec Foster, with music by composer/pianist Steve Talaga in Foster’s poem cycle Contemplating the Heavens. A string quartet plus jazz quintet join Linda Nemec Foster as she reads from her 2001 chapbook Contemplating the Heavens published by Ridgeway Press, in the unique surroundings of LaFontsee Gallery.
